Space4Globe

Founding Members submitted a proposal to the COSME CLUSTER GO INTERNATIONAL CALL (COS-CLUSTER-2014-3-03). The proposal was accepted and a project contract was signed, titled “Space Clusters International Industrial Diversification” (SPACE2ID), with aim to support the Space4Globe initiative and intensify Cluster and business network collaboration between Space Clusters and Clusters in other sectors internationally by establishing an ESCP, i.e., a Meta-Cluster, in order to support the internationalisation of its SME members. The project concluded successfully and produced an Internationalisation Strategy Plan and an Implementation Roadmap for the Partnership.

The Founding Members have been awarded with the ESCP-4i Label having demonstrated that they fulfil the ESCP characteristics and expressed their interest and commitment in developing the Space4Globe Partnership by signing an ESCP-4i Charter.

Some of the Founding Members submitted a proposal to the COSME CLUSTER GO INTERNATIONAL CALL (COS-CLUSINT-2016-03-01).The proposal was accepted and a project contract was signed, titled “Space Clusters International Industrial Diversification Gο” (SPACE2IDGO), with aim to further support the Space4Globe initiative and deploy the Implementation roadmapas defined by SPACE2ID in top-priority countries and on market segments where the use of satellite data provide strong added value and accelerate the development of new value chains.

Objectives

    Strive to successfully support the internationalisation of their SME members towards specific third countries, and / or attracting strategic foreign direct investment and cooperation partners and / or securing critical imports, knowledge and technologies with a view to support growth, jobs and investment.

  • transfer of knowledge and technologies

    Facilitate the transnational transfer of knowledge and technologies between Space Clusters and Clusters in other sectors.

  • investment and cooperation

    Attract strategic foreign direct investment and cooperation partners

  • financing access

    Encourage and support SMEs to participate in common projects and to access other sources of public and private financing

  • synergies

    Stimulate exchange of information and to develop possible collaboration and synergies with other ESCPs targeting similar third markets
